project - intergenerational mentoring
Mentoring brings us together – across generation, class, and often race –
in a manner that forces us to acknowledge our interdependence, to appreciate,
in Martin Luther King, Jr.’s words, that ‘we are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied to a single garment of destiny.’
In this way, mentoring enables us to participate in the essential but unfinished drama of reinventing community, while reaffirming that there is an important role for each of us in it.
We wholeheartedly agree with this sentiment and believe there is a great value to be gained from mentoring relationships.
We're therefore exploring the opportunity to create a service that helps young and older mentors and mentees find and connect with each other, and we'd like your help!
As a starting point, we want to gather the perspectives of as many mentors and mentees as possible so that we can design a great service experience!
We'd love it if you could participate. Please click here to get started. Thank you!
